As the infrastructure for these stations takes shape, a big jump is already being seen in the property markets of these cities. Demand for commercial and residential property has risen sharply, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities such as Vapi, Bilimora, Bharuch and Anand. Developers are planning logistics parks, malls, hotels and township projects on a large scale. It is estimated that property prices in these areas could double or even triple within the next few years.
