Domestic cricket has witnessed a historic milestone as a relatively unknown batter etched his name in the record books. Playing in the Ranji Trophy, the competitor put on a marathon batting display that caught the entire sporting fraternity by surprise. The dramatic turnaround on the field matches the inspiring journey behind the scenes.

## The Transition From Mumbai to Mizoram
Before moving to the northeastern state, the centurion was actively involved with the Mumbai domestic circuit. He had previously represented Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and shared the dressing room with stalwarts of the game. However, due to intense competition and a lack of regular opportunities in the senior squad, he decided to shift base and join Mizoram as a guest player. After missing out narrowly in the opening fixture of the ongoing season, he capitalized fully on the next big chance.

## Family Backing and Father's Guidance
The sporting background runs deep within the household, as his father Rajesh Sutar was a fearsome batter for Mumbai during the nineties, known widely for his aggressive six-hitting abilities. Whenever selection setbacks occurred, the senior Sutar stood firmly by his son, offering vital advice to maintain self-belief during difficult phases. Reaching the monumental landmark, the player immediately dialed his father to share the joyous update.

## Joining Legends of the Game
Entering the elite club of players with quadruple centuries in first-class cricket, the performance places the batter in rare company. He became only the second Indian to score 400 runs in a single innings, following in the footsteps of BB Nimbalkar, who scored an unbeaten 443 for Maharashtra. Globally, legendary names such as Donald Bradman and Brian Lara are the few who share this prestigious distinction.

## Crucial Support From the Tailend
The monumental feat would not have materialized without vital support from the other end of the pitch. When the score reached 231, nine wickets had already fallen, threatening a quick conclusion to the innings. However, the last batter Lalrempuia Chhakchhuak stood firm, scoring an unbeaten 14 runs from 76 balls to anchor a record tenth-wicket stand that allowed the landmark to be reached safely.
