Chandigarh police and the administration swung into action immediately, using human and technical intelligence to trace the source of the call. The investigation revealed that the call was made by Avinash, a 37 year old resident of Sector 24 in Chandigarh. Avinash works a private job and is reported to be a habitual drug user. During questioning it emerged that he made the threatening call to the police control room while under the influence of drugs. Police registered a case at Chandigarh's Sector 3 police station and took the accused into custody.\n\nKiran Chaudhary and Shruti Chaudhary hold joint press conference in Bhiwani\nAhead of the PM's visit, former BJP MP Kiran Chaudhary and her daughter Shruti Chaudhary, a minister in the Nayab Saini government, held a joint press conference in Bhiwani. Shruti Chaudhary thanked Chief Minister Nayab Saini for completing every single project of the irrigation department. Kiran Chaudhary said the Prime Minister would inaugurate the Bhiwani Medical College, built through Shruti Chaudhary's efforts. She said running a hydrogen train is a big step by Prime Minister Modi towards making the country self reliant, and that it will cut the country's dependence on oil.
