Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan Reunite on Karan Johar's Talk Show as Actress Crowns Herself Bollywood's Top Star Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan return together to the couch on Koffee With Karan Season 9 after 16 years. A newly released teaser captures the couple engaging in witty banter with host Karan Johar. The fourth episode of Koffee With Karan Season 9 is set to welcome Bollywood couple Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan as guests, marking a long-awaited reunion on the couch. A newly released teaser of Karan Johar's talk show has sparked considerable excitement among entertainment enthusiasts. This appearance follows their joint feature on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5, serving as their second combined outing in recent times. The couple had previously appeared together on Season 3 of the show back in 2010 when they were dating, making this latest couch session a reunion after a span of 16 years. Earlier in this ninth season, Karisma Kapoor also made an appearance alongside Salman Khan. Teasing Host Karan Johar About the Final Season In the promotional clip, Kareena Kapoor wastes no time in poking fun at long-time friend Karan Johar. She playfully expressed a sense of happiness and relief regarding the show heading into its final season. Taking a lighthearted jab, she remarked, 'Now we won't need to keep coming back to Koffee With Karan.' Not one to let the remark slide, Karan Johar responded with dry sarcasm, saying, 'Thank you for showing sensitivity towards the final season of the show.' The exchange highlighted the easy camaraderie and playful friction that has defined their appearances together over the years. Saif Ali Khan Labels Himself a Miscast Guest As the conversation unfolded between the two close friends, Saif Ali Khan offered his own perspective on his presence on the couch. Known for his understated humor, the actor suggested that he felt slightly out of place amidst the rapid gossip and glitz of the setting. Interrupting the ongoing exchange, Saif quipped, 'I am slightly miscast.' His wry admission brought an authentic and amused energy to the segment, contrasting smoothly with the animated conversation surrounding him. Claiming the Top Spot in Bollywood The standout highlight of the teaser arrives when Karan Johar poses a direct question to Kareena Kapoor regarding the industry's hierarchy. He asked her to identify who, in her assessment, holds the title of the current number one actress in Bollywood. Without hesitation or second thoughts, Kareena pointed toward herself with characteristic self-assurance, declaring, 'The one sitting right in front of you.' Her unapologetic answer prompted a quick and humorous reaction from husband Saif Ali Khan. Saif reminded her that rather than constantly picking herself, she could occasionally acknowledge and praise other people. Unfazed by the comment, Kareena immediately countered by asserting, 'I did. What do you mean?' The dynamic captured the familiar rhythm of their relationship, combining Kareena's effortless confidence with Saif's sharp and grounded wit. Revisiting Their Talk Show History The joint appearance marks a major milestone for the programme, revisiting a partnership that first graced the screen in 2010 during Season 3 while the couple was still in a courtship phase. Beyond this paired visit, Saif Ali Khan also featured in the previous season on the couch alongside his mother, Sharmila Tagore.
