According to police details, a total of 48 pouches of country liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused. Following this action, the police registered a case against the accused and initiated further investigation. The authorities are currently trying to trace the origin of the recovered liquor and determine where it was intended to be supplied locally. With this police crackdown, the roles of other individuals linked to the illicit liquor trade are also expected to come under scrutiny.
