A disturbing crime from Guna in Madhya Pradesh has sent shockwaves through the area. A 15-year-old girl from the Boodhe Balaji locality, which falls under the Kotwali police station limits, was first won over by two young men and then trapped in a carefully laid plan that ended in a brutal assault. The accused first captured objectionable photographs of the teenager and later turned those very images into a weapon — blackmailing her and subjecting her to rape.
How the Trap Was Set
According to police, the girl had gone to a water park in Saktpur along with two acquaintances. It was here that one of the young men deliberately and as part of a plan shot obscene and objectionable photos of her. By threatening to make these pictures public, the accused broke her down mentally. Exploiting that fear, one of the accused forced her into his car and raped her inside the vehicle, while the second man assisted him throughout the act.
The Victim Manages to Escape
After the assault, the girl somehow managed to free herself from the clutches of the accused and reached home in a distraught state. There, she tearfully narrated the entire ordeal to her family. On hearing what had happened to their daughter, the family took her to the Kotwali police station that very night and lodged a written complaint. In her statement, the victim named two young men — one of them is her own friend and the other is that friend's companion.
Prime Accused Nabbed the Same Night
Given the gravity and sensitivity of the case, SP Hitika Vasal directed the police to act immediately. The Kotwali police cordoned off the area late at night and arrested the main accused. Detailing the case, SP Hitika Vasal said the 15-year-old complainant had gone to the Saktpur water park with two friends, where one of her friends took her obscene pictures in a planned manner and then, after intimidating her, made her sit in his car and committed the crime.
Case Registered Under POCSO and Serious Sections
Police said that in this incident one of the men committed the rape while the other fully assisted him. On this basis, a case has been registered against the accused under the POCSO Act and serious sections relating to rape. The arrested prime accused is being interrogated. The second accused, who aided the crime, is currently absconding, and police teams are conducting continuous raids to trace him. Police have asserted that the fugitive accused too will soon be arrested and put behind bars.
