Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has shared a post on the social media platform X praising the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In his message, he said the dreams and aspirations of the country's middle class have been given fresh height and direction over the past 12 years.
A message centred on the middle class
Describing the Prime Minister's leadership as accomplished and successful, the Chief Minister wrote that, under Modi's guidance, steady work has been done to turn the hopes of ordinary families into reality. He called it a "new flight" for the dreams of the middle class.
The schemes he highlighted
Yogi Adityanath listed several of the government's flagship initiatives that, according to him, have directly changed the lives of ordinary citizens. These include:
- Income tax relief — a step that affects the middle class's pocket.
- Ayushman Bharat — widening the reach of health security.
- Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana — bringing the assurance of one's own home.
- Ujjwala — the cooking-gas initiative.
- Har Ghar Jal — the drive to deliver water to every household.
- Swachh Bharat — the campaign to make cleanliness a mass movement.
According to the Chief Minister, taken together this chain of schemes has given the middle class a new foundation of relief, security and confidence.
Public reaction
The post drew a mixed response — some users welcomed the government's work, while many others raised questions about roads, sanitation and basic amenities in their own areas and pressed for more local development.
