Pitru Dosh Remedies: Try These 4 Peepal-Tree Rituals on Saturday to Ease Ancestral Affliction and Awaken Fortune

These four simple rituals linked to the Peepal tree, performed on a Saturday, are believed to bring relief from Pitru Dosh. Practising any one of them for at least 7 Saturdays is said to invite the blessings of one's ancestors.

Pitru Dosh Remedies: Saturday is believed to be highly auspicious for seeking the blessings and grace of one's ancestors. On this day, certain rituals connected with the Peepal tree are considered helpful in freeing a person from Pitru Dosh. It is said that following these remedies can open the doors of stalled fortune and pave the way for success in life. If you regularly perform any one of the remedies given below for at least 7 Saturdays, the grace of your ancestors may shower upon you.

Lighting a Four-Faced Lamp (Chaumukhi Deepak)

On Saturday evening, after sunset, go beneath a Peepal tree and light a four-faced lamp (chaumukhi deepak). Keep in mind that only mustard oil should be used in the lamp. After lighting the lamp, remember your ancestors and chant the mantra 'Om Sarva Pitru Prashno Bhavah Om' at least 108 times. It is believed that performing this ritual brings financial progress and maintains balance in life.

Reciting Hanuman Chalisa Beneath the Peepal

On Saturday evening, light a lamp at the root of the Peepal tree and recite the Hanuman Chalisa. Reciting the Hanuman Chalisa seven times is considered even more auspicious. Performing this ritual on Saturday is said to bring the grace of Lord Hanuman and Shani Dev along with the blessings of one's ancestors. This remedy brings peace of mind, and fortune too begins to favour you.

Circumambulating the Peepal Tree

On Saturday, one should circumambulate (perform parikrama of) the Peepal tree at least 7 times. While doing so, wrap cotton thread or a white thread around the Peepal. It is believed that this remedy calms the planets Rahu, Ketu and Shani, which are regarded as the chief contributors to Pitru Dosh. Therefore, when these three planets are pacified, one is also relieved of Pitru Dosh.

The Water and Black Sesame Remedy

On Saturday morning, after bathing and meditation, fill a vessel (lota) with water and mix black sesame seeds into it. After this, offer this water at the root of a Peepal tree and remember your ancestors. It is said that performing this remedy earns the boundless grace of one's ancestors. This ritual is also believed to awaken fortune and bring financial gain.
