Allowing turmeric to run out entirely in the home is not seen as a good sign. For this reason, a fresh stock should be kept ready even before it finishes.
Do Not Let Salt Fall Short
Salt is given special importance in Vastu. According to belief, it is linked to Rahu and Ketu. If the salt container becomes completely empty, tension, disputes and mental unrest may rise in the household. That is why salt should never be allowed to finish entirely.
