As Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Slovak counterpart Robert Fico, all eyes turned to one thing the two leaders had in common, their nearly identical jackets.

The instant PM Modi arrived, Robert Fico stepped forward with his arms wide open. As the two greeted each other warmly, Modi's attention fell on what Fico was wearing. Why the Visit Matters
The trip is significant for far more than this charming moment. Narendra Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to travel to Slovakia since Czechoslovakia split in 1993, and the welcome he received there set a fresh benchmark for the friendship between the two nations.
Eleven Landmark Agreements
Amid all the warmth, there was solid diplomatic progress too. India and Slovakia elevated their bilateral relationship to the level of a 'comprehensive partnership' and signed a total of 11 landmark agreements. These deals are aimed at deepening cooperation in key areas such as migration, digital technology and defence.
