Audio AI company ElevenLabs has announced that creators will soon be able to publish AI-generated music produced on its ElevenMusic platform straight to SoundCloud. This integration marks a significant bridge between advanced generative creation tools and mainstream listening audiences, streamlining how digital tracks move from conception to public streaming.
Artist Pro Benefits and Subscription Perks
As part of this rollout, ElevenLabs is providing SoundCloud Artist Pro users with a three-month trial of ElevenMusic Pro. This tier allows creators to generate up to 1,000 songs every month, split track stem files 500 times, and produce five custom vocal styles or genres monthly, offering substantial production capabilities for independent artists exploring new sonic boundaries.
Evolution of the Music Generation Technology
The company originally debuted its commercial-cleared music-generation model in 2025, followed by the release of a consumer app that lets you generate songs via text prompts in April 2026. A month later, the developers introduced an advanced model capable of mid-track genre switching and handling intricate vocal arrangements. Data shared by the company indicates that users have already produced over 25 million tracks utilizing these foundational models.
SoundCloud and Its Alternative AI Approach
SoundCloud has concurrently introduced various creative tools, adopting a slightly distinct strategy for the digital ecosystem. Last partnership initiatives include teaming up with audio tooling company Moises to streamline importing and exporting workflows. The platform also maintains existing integrations with other platforms such as Google Flow Music and the remix-focused service Hook.
Leadership Perspectives on the Collaboration
SoundCloud CEO Eliah Seton shared remarks regarding the collaboration, stating that the platform has historically served as a space for experimental creators to push artistic boundaries. Bringing ElevenMusic creations directly to fans expands these possibilities further, helping musicians grow their audiences beyond traditional confines.
Wider Streaming Industry Reactions and Policies
Beyond this integration, ElevenLabs also maintains an audiobook narration partnership with Spotify, though Spotify has yet to sign direct generative model partners unlike labels involved in its remix efforts. Meanwhile, broader streaming services are adopting varying stances toward machine-generated audio. Platforms like Deezer are introducing filtering toggles to let listeners block synthetic tracks, while Bandcamp has instituted strict bans. Companies including Spotify and YouTube are similarly leaning toward careful content labeling.
