Roshan Anand, director of Gyan Bindu GS Academy who was jailed over the vandalism at Khan Sir's coaching centre, has been released on bail. Moments after walking free, his anger boiled over as he directly accused Faizal Khan and Kisan Cold Storage owner RS Prasad of plotting the murder of his own brother.
'My brother was killed the moment I went to jail'
Roshan Anand insists a deliberate conspiracy was hatched against him. "मेरे खिलाफ साजिश रची गई है। फैजल खान और किसान कोल्ड स्टोरेज के मालिक RS प्रसाद की रची साजिश के तहत मेरे भाई की हत्या कर दी गई। जब मैं बाहर था, तो मेरे भाई को कुछ नहीं हुआ। लेकिन जब मुझे जेल भेजा गया, तो मेरे भाई की हत्या कर दी गई। यह एक साजिश है," he said, alleging that nothing happened to his brother while he was free, but the killing took place once he was sent to jail.
He accused Faizal Khan of lying, claiming that no firing came from his side yet a firing was alleged anyway. "CCTV फ़ुटेज में दिखा कि फायरिंग किसने की थी- फैजल खान ने। फिर भी, फैजल खान जेल से बाहर हैं। पुलिस ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार नहीं किया है," he said, insisting the CCTV footage showed Faizal Khan firing, yet he remains out of jail and unarrested.
Pointed questions for Patna Police
Leaving for his brother's last rites, Roshan Anand raised sharp questions about the role of the Patna Police. "मैं अपने भाई के अंतिम संस्कार के लिए जा रहा हूं... मैं पटना पुलिस से पूछना चाहता हूं कि बिना जांच के मुझे क्यों गिरफ़्तार किया गया? कौन सा नेता फैजल खान को बचा रहा है? किसके राजनीतिक दबाव में मुझे गिरफ्तार किया गया?" he asked, questioning why he was arrested without an investigation and which leader was shielding Faizal Khan.
He further pointed out that once a case was registered against Faizal Khan, the Patna Police had 48 to 72 hours to arrest him but failed to do so. "जब फैजल खान के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज हुआ, तो पटना पुलिस के पास उसे गिरफ्तार करने के लिए 48 से 72 घंटे का समय था। फिर भी, किसके कहने पर पटना पुलिस उसे गिरफ्तार नहीं कर पाई?" he said.
Fears for his own life
Roshan Anand warned that after his brother's killing he too could be targeted. "जब एक साजिश के तहत मेरे भाई की हत्या हुई, तब मैं जेल में था, फैजल खान मेरी भी हत्या करवा सकता है। मैं पटना पुलिस से सुरक्षा की मांग करता हूं। फैजल खान ने ही गोली चलाने का आदेश दिया था, फिर भी इल्ज़ाम मुझ पर मढ़ दिया गया। इस बात के सबूत हैं कि फैजल खान ने गोली चलाने का आदेश दिया था," he said. He repeated that RS Prasad and Faizal Khan together conspired to kill his brother and could have him killed too, which is why he is seeking protection from the Patna Police.
Demand for a CBI probe and fresh post-mortem
Roshan Anand said he would keep up the fight and expressed faith that the double-engine government would deliver justice. He demanded a CBI inquiry into his brother's murder and the formation of a high-level committee to conduct a fresh post-mortem in Bihar.
Attacking Faizal Khan, he said he was not worthy of being called a teacher and was instead a goon, a murderer and a conspirator who had cheated students. Referring to the BPSC matter, he claimed he had evidence of what Faizal Khan had said, but that Faizal Khan produced no evidence when the case reached court.
The June 2 incident and the 'guard' claim
On the events of June 2, Roshan Anand said it was clear to everyone who ordered the firing. "फैजल खान पर्दे के आगे दिखावटी शिक्षक है, फैजल खान ने गोली चलवाई। 2 जून की जो घटना है सबको स्पष्ट है कि गोली किसने चलाई, गोली फैसल खान ने चलवाया लेकिन आरोप रौशन आनंद पर लगा। जिसको अपना गार्ड बताया वो कोल्ड स्टोरेज कैंपस का गार्ड है। किसान कोल्ड स्टोरेज के मालिक आर एस प्रसाद और फैजल खान ने षड्यंत्र के तहत हमें जेल भिजवाया," he said, alleging the man described as his guard was actually the cold storage campus guard.
Pressure to settle and a conspiracy in jail
Roshan Anand alleged he was pressured to "manage" the case and that his brother was murdered the same night. "मैनेज करने का प्रेशर हम पर बनाया गया और उसी रात मेरे भाई की हत्या हो गई। कहा समझौता नहीं किया तो आपको भुगतना पड़ेगा और हम भुगत रहे हैं। हमारे भाई की हत्या हो गई है, 13 तारीख को कई बार समझौते का दबाव हम पर बनाया गया," he said, adding that he was told he would have to bear the consequences if he did not compromise. He also claimed a conspiracy was hatched against him inside jail, and that he survived only because of the jail administration.
He alleged that Faizal Khan did not cooperate with the police and misled the Patna Police, yet he was the one arrested. Concluding, Roshan Anand said, "मैं सनातनी हिन्दू हूं। सत्य और अहिंसा के साथ मैं रहता हूं। फैजल खान इमोशनली ब्लैकमेल करता है, विद्यार्थियों से आग्रह करूंगा, आप इमोशन में ना आएं" — declaring himself a Sanatani Hindu who lives by truth and non-violence, and urging students not to be swayed by what he called Faizal Khan's emotional blackmail.
