Fresh details have emerged in the investigation regarding the attack on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Juhu on the evening of October 18. Police findings indicate that the assault was not merely meant to intimidate, but appeared to be an attempt on his life. Authorities discovered that instead of two, there were actually three attackers involved in the incident, and they fired a total of seven rounds rather than five. The most alarming revelation is that one shooter managed to get extremely close to the vehicle, attempting to fire directly at Tiger Shroff from point-blank range.
A Jammed Pistol Averted a Major Tragedy
A major disaster was averted purely by chance when the assailant's pistol suffered a technical malfunction and jammed at the crucial moment. Because of this mechanical failure, the gunman could not complete the shot, and Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped death. However, the indiscriminate firing at the vehicle resulted in injuries to the actor's driver and a fan standing nearby. Immediately after the attack, the Lawrence Bishनोई gang claimed responsibility, causing widespread panic. Police are currently tracing the complete route taken by the three shooters.
Vehicle Surrounded Leaving the Party
The incident occurred on the evening of October 18 at around 7:00 pm. Tiger Shroff was exiting a birthday party held at Pushpa Narsee Park in Juhu. As soon as his car reached the road, two assailants on a motorcycle intercepted and surrounded the vehicle. Without giving any warning, they began showering the car with bullets, creating immediate panic and chaos in the neighborhood.
Driver and Fan Injured While Actor Escapes Unharmed
The attackers executed their plan by firing seven continuous rounds, shattering glass and scattering debris everywhere. The driver, Firdous, sustained a bullet injury to his hand. Meanwhile, an innocent fan standing close to the vehicle was critically injured after being hit by a bullet near the chest. Fortunately, Tiger Shroff was not directly struck by any projectiles, though he suffered minor scratches from the shattered windscreen glass.
Responsibility Claimed Through Social Media Voice Note
Shortly after the shooting, an audio clip surfaced on the internet. In the recording, two individuals identifying themselves as Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu claimed to be operatives of the Lawrence Bishनोई gang and directly took credit for the attack. Mumbai Police have secured this audio clip and launched a comprehensive probe. Barricades have been set up across all major routes in the city while investigators review CCTV footage to track down the suspects.
