Bhind Road Tragedy: Biker Loses Balance on NH-719 Bypass, Slips Under Dumper's Rear Wheel — Entire Crash Caught on a Hotel's CCTV

A young biker in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind died on the spot after losing control on the NH-719 bypass and slipping under the rear wheel of a dumper. A nearby hotel's CCTV recorded the whole crash, while the dumper driver fled the scene.

A fast-moving highway in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind district claimed yet another life when a young man riding his motorcycle suddenly lost his balance and slid directly beneath the rear wheel of a dumper truck. The accident, which unfolded in a matter of seconds on the National Highway 719 bypass under the Dehat police station limits, killed him on the spot. The entire sequence was captured by the CCTV camera of a hotel standing right beside the road — footage that later helped police piece together exactly what happened.

Who the victim was

The deceased has been identified as Saurabh Yadav, a resident of Kitty village in the Umari police station area. He was riding his bike along the NH-719 bypass, heading from the Collectorate towards the Circuit House. Notably, Saurabh was following the traffic rules and wearing a helmet at the time — yet the impact was so severe that the helmet itself was smashed to pieces.

How the crash happened

An empty dumper was approaching from the direction of the Circuit House when the accident occurred. In front of the Janta Balak School, a Bolero travelling just ahead of the motorcycle slowed down at a speed breaker. At that moment Saurabh could not keep control of his bike. The motorcycle skidded out of control and fell, and as it did, his head and face went under the rear wheel of the dumper. His face was completely crushed and he died on the spot. Immediately after causing the accident, the dumper driver abandoned the situation and fled the scene.

No ID, family traced through a phone call

Soon after the incident, the youth's body was sent to the district hospital with the help of Dial 112. The difficulty was that Saurabh was not carrying any identity document. It was only later, when a call came in on his mobile phone, that his family could be informed about the accident and his death. As soon as they received the news, his relatives rushed to the district hospital, where Saurabh's body had been kept.

What the CCTV revealed

The whole road accident was clearly recorded on the CCTV camera of a hotel located nearby. The footage shows the empty dumper moving from the Circuit House side towards the Collectorate, while biker Saurabh was coming from the Collectorate towards the Circuit House. As the Bolero ahead slowed down at the breaker in front of the Janta school, the biker lost his balance, slipped and fell straight under the dumper's rear wheel.

Police action

Police reached the spot, seized the dumper and parked it at the Dehat police station. They are currently searching for the absconding dumper driver and investigating the case. The young man's family has been informed of his death.
