The BSE Sensex started the session at 77,940.90, marking a gain of 176.99 points or 0.23 percent. Similarly, the NSE Nifty 50 index opened at 24,306.85, posting a marginal increase of 36.00 points, or 0.15 percent. This positive start follows a robust performance from the preceding week, during which the Sensex surged by 663.44 points (0.86 percent) and the Nifty 50 climbed by 214.85 points (0.89 percent).
