Dhami's Science Class for Workers: BJP's Shakti Kendras Are Like Atoms and Nuclear Power

At an organisational event in Udhamsinghnagar, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami used electrons, protons and even the nuclear bomb to explain to party workers the real strength hidden inside BJP's Shakti Kendras.

Political stages usually echo with slogans and claims, but Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami chose a very different toolkit to fire up his party workers — a physics lesson. Speaking at an organisational programme in Udhamsinghnagar on Sunday, he drew a direct comparison between the BJP's Shakti Kendras and the atom, and even the nuclear bomb. His point was simple: to make workers feel how tiny, individual units can combine into an enormous force.

Why the organisation rests on its Shakti Kendras

Dhami began with a basic principle. The success of any political organisation, he argued, depends entirely on how active its Shakti Kendras are and how they function. He stressed that within the BJP, a Shakti Kendra is far more than a paper formality or an organisational box on a chart. In his words, it is the strongest and most effective channel for connecting the party's ideology, its activities and its direct contact with the public.

The maths of electrons, neutrons and protons

To sharpen his message, the Chief Minister turned to the structure of the atom. He told the gathering, “We all talk about electrons, neutrons and protons in science, which together make up an atom. These particles are so fine and small that it is impossible to see them with the naked eye. They can be seen only through a very high-power microscope. But the thing worth thinking about is how much vast and unlimited energy is hidden inside such tiny-looking particles. It is from this very energy that the atom is formed.”

His underlying argument was that something invisible to the eye can still hold immense power — and the same is true of the smallest worker in the organisation.

The world frozen by the fear of the bomb

Carrying the example further, Dhami brought in the nuclear bomb to show how the power of a tiny particle can shake the entire world. He said, “There is no need to separately explain how much strength lies within a small atom. If the progress and development of the whole world is stalled anywhere today, what is the biggest reason behind it? It is the threat of the nuclear bomb. The greatest fear in the world today is that someone might set off a nuclear weapon. In other words, the atom — made up of those tiny particles — now has the capacity to affect the entire world.”

The Shakti Kendra as BJP's 'nuclear power plant'

Tying this scientific and global picture back to the party, Dhami delivered his conclusion. The BJP's Shakti Kendra model, he said, works exactly like a nuclear power plant, and this entire system exists only with the BJP. According to him, every small worker toiling at the grassroots is like that invisible particle, carrying within it the power to give the organisation unlimited energy and strength. The Chief Minister said that only when all these workers come together and act as one does the party emerge as a superpower.
