I said a lot of wrong things to him that I should not have said. In anger I ended up saying things that never should have been said.
Faisal also made it clear that he is not looking for any explanation or justification from anyone in his family. What he wants now is simply to repair broken relationships and move forward.

Reflecting on his decision to speak out in public, Faisal said:
I have realized that the solutions to family problems are found within the family itself. I should never have taken our private matters outside.

Faisal revealed that reading the Quran brought about a significant shift in the way he thinks. It was through the Quran that he truly came to understand the value and importance of family. Faisal shared that after arriving in Mumbai, his very first act was to go to his mother and personally apologize to her. He also sought her forgiveness separately for having exposed the family's private affairs to the public. The family, he said, accepted his apology completely and with an open heart.
