Renowned Bollywood and television actress Manasi Parekh has safely returned to Mumbai following her spiritual journey to Kailash Mansarovar. Following sudden flash floods in Nepal, reports had surfaced about her going missing, creating deep anxiety among her family and well-wishers. As soon as Manasi landed in Mumbai, her family became emotional upon seeing her safe and sound. She returned alongside a group of 93 travelers associated with the Isha Foundation who had embarked on the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage and remained out of contact for three to four days. Upon reaching the Mumbai airport, Manasi shared her harrowing experiences and spoke about the tragedy that struck during her spiritual expedition.
Narrow Escape and Border Devastation
Recounting the ordeal, Manasi Parekh stated that the journey was extremely long and arduous. She noted that at the border between Tibet and Nepal, there is a massive immigration building, and just seven days prior, they had entered China through that exact structure. After completing their Kailash pilgrimage, they were scheduled to exit China, but just 24 hours before that, the disaster struck. When they saw the videos and learned about the catastrophe, they were left speechless with no idea what to do. The enormous immigration building and an entire village were completely swept away within a span of 24 hours. Calling it a terrible experience, she remarked that this turning point made her realize how uncertain life truly is.
A Terrifying Display of Natural Wrath
Describing the event as deeply tragic and frightening, Manasi explained that the entire area has been submerged in mud, making it extremely difficult to locate missing individuals. The water current was so ferocious that people were washed away as far as 300 kilometers. She emphasized that this is the wrath of nature, which no one can stop or control. It was an unforeseen tragedy completely beyond human power, and nobody could have ever anticipated such a disaster. She added that the reality of the incident is still hard to believe and remains profoundly heartbreaking.
