Admissions across these government centers are strictly merit-based, calculated according to the candidate's previous academic performance rather than any separate entrance examination. Available disciplines across the state include Electrician, Fitter, Turner, General Painter, Diesel Mechanic, AC Mechanic, COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant), Welder, Electronics Mechanic, Civil Draftsman, Wireman, and Solar Technician. Interestingly, candidates have the flexibility to simultaneously select various trade options based on both their 8th-grade and 10th-grade qualifications using just a single consolidated application form.
Age Limits, Application Fees, and Document Verification
To be eligible for these diverse vocational courses, prospective students must be at least 14 years old. The official cutoff date for calculating this minimum age requirement is firmly set as September 1, 2026. Regarding the application costs, a nominal and accessible fee structure has been implemented by the department. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are required to pay a discounted fee of 175 rupees. For applicants from all other general and reserved categories, the online application charge is fixed at 200 rupees. Once the initial seat allotment process concludes and the lists are published, successfully selected individuals must complete their physical reporting. They are required to visit their respectively assigned ITI centers strictly between July 30 and August 3, 2026. During this crucial reporting window, students must bring all their original academic certificates and identity documents for mandatory physical verification by the authorities.
