Expressing his gratitude, Soni mentioned that working alongside a phenomenal actor like Irrfan Khan and sharing screen space with him remains one of the most cherished and invaluable memories of his life.

Posting the clip under the Flashback Friday trend, Anup Soni penned a heartfelt note stating that certain memories become even more precious as time passes. The shared scene is from the television show 'Tere Mere Sapne', which was produced and directed by filmmaker Ashok Pandit. Soni proudly highlighted that he had the privilege of sharing the screen with Irrfan Khan in this project, who was also his senior at the prestigious National School of Drama (NSD).
A Lifelong Learning Experience with a Master
Delving into his experience of working with the icon, Soni added that as performers, actors always learn something valuable from every good co-star. Working with Irrfan Khan was one such enriching experience that left an indelible mark on his life. Soni shared that watching the scene today fills his heart with immense respect and gratitude for the departed actor. An alumnus of NSD, Irrfan began his professional acting journey in the 1990s through various television serials. After a long period of struggle, he received his major breakthrough in 2003 with Vishal Bhardwaj's critically acclaimed film 'Maqbool'. This film established him as a force to be reckoned with in Hindi cinema.

Following his breakthrough, Irrfan Khan delivered stellar performances in movies like 'Haasil', 'Life in a... Metro', 'Paan Singh Tomar', 'The Lunchbox', 'Talvar', 'Hindi Medium', 'Piku', and 'Angrezi Medium'. Beyond Indian cinema, he also made a distinct mark globally. He starred in highly acclaimed international projects such as 'The Namesake', 'Slumdog Millionaire', 'Life of Pi', and 'Jurassic World'.
His journey on television remained equally memorable, with prominent roles in iconic shows like 'Chanakya', 'Bharat Ek Khoj', 'Banegi Apni Baat', 'Chandrakanta', and 'Tere Mere Sapne'. Regrettably, after a long and courageous battle with a neuroendocrine tumor, the legendary actor passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 53.
