Actor Nani shared a heartfelt appeal on X, explaining his personal motivation behind wanting to attend the premiere alongside regular moviegoers. Describing himself fundamentally as a cinema devotee who grew up cherishing the collective theatre experience, Nani noted that films hold the greatest meaning when watched in the company of people who share an identical passion for the big screen. In Hyderabad, the renowned RTC X Roads cinema hub holds a distinctive sentimental value for such communal viewings.
Nani expressed his hope to visit an RTC X Roads theatre for the premiere of 'The Paradise' scheduled on September 23 to witness first-hand the reactions of the audiences for whom the project was conceived. He stated that the ultimate artistic satisfaction for any filmmaker lies in sitting among the public and absorbing their live emotions. Reassuring authorities about safety concerns, Nani underlined that adhering strictly to every mandatory protocol and security guideline would remain their primary focus, urging the Chief Minister to look favorably upon his plea.

Replying to the actor's post, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy acknowledged Nani's enthusiasm for the film helmed by Telangana's promising young director Srikanth Odela. The Chief Minister also praised Nani's expressed willingness to abide by administrative guidelines. The Chief Minister instructed Nani to submit a formal application to the relevant local police station to facilitate proper crowd control and ensure public safety. Once received, the police department will assess ground conditions, the layout of the venue, and security requirements before determining whether permission can be granted and under what specific conditions.

The stringent administrative oversight surrounding film premieres and promotional appearances in Telangana stems directly from past security incidents. During the premiere of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' at Sandhya Theatre on RTC X Roads in December 2024, a major stampede broke out in the packed area. The tragic incident resulted in the death of a woman, while her young son sustained severe injuries, prompting public outcry over unregulated celebrity gatherings.
Following that tragedy, law enforcement registered a case naming actor Allu Arjun, the theatre management, and several other individuals. Investigators eventually filed a chargesheet naming 23 accused persons. Since that catastrophe, Telangana authorities have enforced rigid safety regulations, requiring thorough vetting and prior police clearance for any high-density film promotions and premiere screenings.
