Hundreds of Hours of Meticulous Handcraft
Bringing this stage creation to life demanded enormous patience and manual dedication from a skilled team. More than ten artisans collaborated over a span exceeding 500 hours to assemble the outfit. Its defining upper element featured a meticulously molded brass breastplate carved in the form of a she-wolf. This animal emblem mirrors the Colombian superstar's enduring creative persona, representing untamed feminine strength, fierce independence, and instinctive artistic expression.
Centuries-Old Banarasi Weave in a Futuristic Silhouette
Complementing the sculpted metal torso, the ensemble featured a handwoven Banarasi silk brocade skirt that brought historic Indian textile heritage to the international stage. Designed with undulating pleats and sweeping folds, the fabric mirrored the organic appearance of molten metal while moving fluidly around the singer during high-energy dance routines. This presentation marked the second occasion on which the Latin pop icon chose Gupta's architectural couture for her stage appearances.
