Domestic equity markets sustained their upward trajectory on Wednesday, marking the fifth consecutive trading session in the green. Benchmark indices maintained firm positive ground following a powerful surge on Tuesday, when the markets had jumped over 1.5 percent. In the mid-week trading session, investor appetite remained robust in defence manufacturing and consumer discretionary names, providing strong counterweight to sharp pullbacks across major software exporters and select blue-chip lenders.
