Renewables company Juniper Green Energy Limited has formally declared the price band for its upcoming initial public offering. The firm has set the issue price within a range of Rs 214 to Rs 225 per equity share, carrying a face value of Rs 10 each. According to the public notice released by the enterprise, the public offer will mark a major expansion phase for the green energy developer in the Indian capital market.

The public subscription for the Juniper Green Energy IPO is scheduled to open on Thursday, July 30, and will close on Monday, August 3. Prior to the main window opening for retail and institutional bidders, anchor investors will get their allocation bidding window on July 29.

Through this primary market offering, the company aims to raise an aggregate capital of Rs 1,800 crore. To generate these funds, the firm will issue a total of 8,00,00,000 fresh equity shares. The entire offering consists strictly of a fresh issue of equity, with no offer for sale component included. This structure ensures that no existing promoters or early equity holders are offloading their shares, and all net proceeds will flow directly into the corporate treasury.

Valuation Projections and Category Reservations

Based on the top end of the valuation band at Rs 225 per share, the total post-issue market capitalization of Juniper Green Energy is projected to reach approximately Rs 12,802 crore. The offer structure details the distribution of equity shares across various investor segments.

Exactly 50 percent of the total issue size is reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs). Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) have been allocated 15 percent of the issue, while the remaining 35 percent portion is designated for retail individual investors. Additionally, the company has created an employee reservation portion valued at up to Rs 2 crore. Eligible employees taking part in the offering will also receive a discount of Rs 21 per share off the final issue price.

Following the bidding closure on August 3, the basis of allotment for the shares will be finalized on August 4. Investors who are successfully allocated shares will see them credited to their demat accounts on August 5. Unsuccessful applicants will also receive their refund processing on August 5.

As a mainboard public offering, the equity shares will be listed on both national benchmark exchanges, the BSE and the NSE. The enterprise confirmed that official listing and secondary market trading will commence on August 6.
