According to the latest details shared on the social media platform X, the party has urged citizens and students in every single district of the country to take to the streets. This decisive move comes at a time when student anger shows no signs of subsiding, and efforts are being made to give the ongoing movement a stronger direction.
The Slogan: Every District. One Day. One Demand
To ensure that a unified voice is raised simultaneously across the entire nation, the party has coined a specific slogan. This nationwide campaign has been named 'Every District. One Day. One Demand'. The Cockroach Janta Party has clearly stated that the primary objective of this major step is to stand in strong solidarity with all the ordinary citizens and students who have been subjected to harsh police action. The party has openly appealed not just to its own grassroots workers, but also to various student organisations and other social groups across the country, asking them to unite and make this agitation a success. The most prominent face of this entire movement remains the well-known social activist Sonam Wangchuk. He has been on a continuous hunger strike in support of the CJP for the past 26 days. Due to such a prolonged fast, his health deteriorated significantly, prompting his admission to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for better medical care. However, despite his hospitalisation, the intensity of the protests by the students and supporters gathered at Jantar Mantar has not diminished in the slightest.
CJP Stands Firm On Demanding Dharmendra Pradhan's Resignation
Representatives of the CJP are continuously raising their voices regarding the crucial NEET issue. They have clearly placed several major demands before the central government. The biggest and most crucial demand among these is the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The organisation strongly believes that the minister must take full responsibility for the ongoing controversies surrounding the examination and step down without any delay. Despite these serious demands, no official, positive, or concrete response has emerged from the government camp so far, which is only adding to the frustration of the protesters.
