Voting for the second phase of urban local body elections in Rajasthan has concluded successfully across 147 civic bodies. By the end of polling at 6 PM, the state recorded an impressive average turnout of 70.01 percent. According to figures released by the State Election Commission, over 8,763,000 voters were registered to exercise their franchise in this phase. Out of this total electorate, more than 6,135,000 citizens visited polling booths to cast their votes. The turnout reflects significant voter engagement across municipal areas. Election authorities noted that these statistics represent data compiled at the close of voting at 6 PM, and minor variations could occur once final administrative verification is completed.
Highest and Lowest Voting Percentages
Dhorimanna achieved the highest turnout in the state during this voting phase, recording a voter participation rate of 91.59 percent. On the other end of the spectrum, Kota Municipal Corporation recorded the lowest voter turnout at 57.02 percent. Among the district-wise statistics, Khairthal-Tijara reached 88.32 percent, Phalodi logged 86.80 percent, and Kotputli-Behror registered 86.04 percent polling. Furthermore, Alwar recorded an 85.22 percent voter turnout, while Barmer reached 85.17 percent.
District-wise Breakdown across Rajasthan
Strong voting participation was registered across several other districts. Bhilwara recorded an 83.88 percent turnout, Bharatpur registered 83.65 percent, Nagaur saw 83.26 percent, Jhalawar stood at 83.19 percent, and Baran recorded 83.07 percent. Deeg saw an 83.04 percent voting level, Dausa recorded 82.88 percent, Dholpur registered 82.06 percent, Didwana-Kuchaman saw 81.90 percent, and Bundi reached 81.48 percent polling. Hanumangarh recorded an 80.01 percent voter turnout, while Chittorgarh reached 79.80 percent.
Moderate Turnout Areas and Municipal Highlights
Several major urban hubs and surrounding regions reported voting figures ranging between 60 percent and 78 percent. Beawar logged a voter turnout of 77.69 percent, Balotra reached 75.18 percent, Shri Ganganagar recorded 75.10 percent, Bikaner stood at 75.09 percent, and Churu saw 74.74 percent voting. Meanwhile, Dungarpur recorded 71.98 percent, Banswara registered 71.36 percent, Jodhpur logged 71.10 percent, Pali saw 70.70 percent, and Udaipur recorded 70.07 percent. Ajmer stood at 69.77 percent, Sikar at 67.81 percent, Sirohi at 66.90 percent, and Jaipur district logged 62.88 percent. Overall, Alwar emerged among the top-performing districts while Kota remained at the bottom of the list.
