In her opening bout, she defeated her opponent from Poland by a dominant 10-0 margin. She carried that momentum into the quarterfinal match, outclassing the wrestler from Russia with another clean 10-0 victory to secure a spot in the semifinals.

Facing Kazakhstan wrestler Injhu, Sandhya executed a swift move to pin her opponent in just 30 seconds, triumphantly punching her ticket to the championship match.
