Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan marked his 84th birthday on October 11, drawing warm wishes from fans and well-wishers across the globe. Adding to the celebrations, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai posted a late-night birthday greeting on social media just before the day ended, which immediately caught the public eye.
Aishwarya shared a previously unseen picture of Amitabh Bachchan alongside her daughter Aaradhya on Instagram. Accompanying the post, she wrote a warm message wishing her dearest pa and grandpa a happy birthday with love and eternal blessings, complete with affectionate and protective emojis.
The post quickly gained traction online and sparked curiosity among social media users. Several commentators pointed out that while Aishwarya consistently shares posts celebrating Amitabh Bachchan's birthday every year, she never extends similar public greetings or posts for Jaya Bachchan.
Keeping up with his annual tradition, Amitabh stepped out of his residence Jalsa to greet the massive crowd of fans gathered outside to celebrate his special day. Dressed in a red kurta and a matching shawl, the actor stood before a massive floral garland specially crafted by his admirers and waved to express his gratitude.
Meanwhile, celebrations also extended to the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati where Amitabh is currently shooting. His son Abhishek Bachchan arrived on set to surprise him on his birthday, alongside fellow actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, and Madhuri Dixit who were also present to mark the occasion.
