Actor Ravi Kishan is confident about his upcoming film 'Dhamaal 4' alongside Ajay Devgn, saying it will turn out to be a big hit once it hits theatres and will bring the comedy franchise back to mainstream audiences after years. Kishan said he is fully convinced that 'Dhamaal 4' will revive Bollywood's comedy genre after a long gap. Talking about how audience tastes keep shifting, he said,

It will be crazy. Right now Akshay Kumar's film 'Welcome To The Jungle' is running. Now Dhurandhar, the action era is over and the comedy season has arrived. People's taste changes every 6 months. We have been watching this for 34 years.

The actor and politician, who has recently been in the news for his OTT series 'Mamla Legal Hai', added enthusiastically,

This is the comedy era, and Dhamaal will do very well in it because it is a film with a fantastic script.

He further said that once the film releases in cinemas across the country, its songs and jokes will strike a chord with audiences. According to him, the film's light, breezy and entertaining tone will pull viewers of every age group to theatres.

Sharing his expectations for the film, Kishan said,

So the timing is good and I feel this film is going to be a huge hit. I play a pirate in it, and then I am returning to Mirzapur in a very powerful role.
