Jana Nayakan Rebounds Strongly on Second Saturday with 119.7 Percent Growth
Despite facing stiff competition from the Hollywood release, superstar Thalapathy Vijay starrer Jana Nayakan registered a remarkable comeback on its second Saturday, marking its 10th day in theaters. The action film collected Rs 7.80 crore net on Saturday, reflecting an extraordinary 119.7 percent jump over its second Friday collection of Rs 3.55 crore.
With this impressive single day surge, the total net collection of Jana Nayakan in India stands at Rs 164.90 crore, while its total gross earnings have reached Rs 192.50 crore. On the other hand, the theatrical run for Raghav Juyal starrer Bhai Tera Star Hai has turned out to be deeply disappointing. Released on July 30, 2026, the film failed to generate momentum at the box office right from its opening day, fetching a modest Rs 25 lakh on launch. On its second day, July 31, 2026, earnings remained flat with another Rs 25 lakh collection.
The situation worsened on day three, Saturday, as collections dipped further to Rs 20 lakh. Across its initial three day weekend, Bhai Tera Star Hai managed a cumulative collection of only Rs 70 lakh, falling short of even the Rs 1 crore mark. Reports indicate that the film was produced on an estimated budget ranging between Rs 15 crore and Rs 25 crore, making its initial box office numbers a significant commercial concern for its makers.
