The 38-year-old bowler shared his decision late last night immediately following the UP T20 League encounter between Kanpur Superstars and Meerut Mavericks. His final competitive outing will take place during the Lucknow leg of the tournament on August 25. Although his international career for India was brief, spanning just four games, his domestic and Indian Premier League legacy remains remarkably extensive. Throughout his time in national colors, he featured in one Test, two ODIs, and a single T20 International, capturing 5 wickets in total. In contrast, his numbers in domestic cricket stand out as phenomenal, having amassed 551 wickets across First-Class, List A, and T20 competitions.
