A chilling incident of robbery and violent assault has been reported from the Ramgarh police station area in Rajasthan's Alwar district, where a group of miscreants targeted a student returning from the railway station. The victim, who is diligently preparing for the competitive Delhi Police recruitment examinations, was confronted by several unknown youths demanding his mobile phone. When the student stood his ground and refused to hand over his personal device, the assailants launched a brutal attack with a sharp knife, leaving him critically injured on the road before fleeing the scene.
Ambushed Near Ramgarh Railway Station
According to available details, the injured youth has been identified as Hemant, a native of Govindgarh. To pursue his career aspirations, Hemant has been residing in Ramgarh, Alwar, where he is enrolled at a local coaching institute to prepare for the upcoming competitive exams for Delhi Police recruitment.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening while Hemant was walking back to his residence after arriving at the Ramgarh railway station. As he was navigating his usual route home, a group of 8 to 9 unidentified youths suddenly intercepted him. The miscreants quickly surrounded Hemant from all sides, blocking his path and preventing him from moving forward.
Brutal Knife Attack Following Phone Refusal
Narrating the ordeal, Hemant stated that the confrontation began when the youths forcefully demanded that he surrender his mobile phone. When Hemant refused to give up his device, the miscreants became enraged and initiated a physical altercation. The aggression escalated rapidly as the suspects began beating him severely.
Within moments, members of the group brandished sharp knives and repeatedly stabbed Hemant. Severe bleeding caused him to collapse onto the ground in critical condition. Hemant emphasized that he did not have any prior acquaintance or dispute with any of the 8 to 9 attackers, affirming that the violent assault was purely driven by their intent to loot his mobile phone and retaliation against his refusal.
