A wave of concern spread across the Amer-Kunda area along Delhi Road in Jaipur Rural following the discovery of a young man lying dead inside a hotel room. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Meena, a resident of Nangal Susawatan, who had checked into the property with a woman. Upon waking in the morning and finding him completely unresponsive, the woman immediately contacted law enforcement officials, prompting a team from the Amer police station to rush to the scene and initiate an inquiry.
Discovery at 11 AM and Forensic Examination
According to Amer Station House Officer Rajendra Godara, Ravi Meena was staying at the Delhi Road hotel alongside a woman hailing from Viratnagar. At around 11 am, the woman awoke to discover Ravi lying motionless on the bed, with blood trickling from his nose. Officers arriving at the room promptly called in a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team to inspect the premises and secure material evidence. Following the preliminary on-site inspection, the body was shifted to the mortuary at Amer Satellite Hospital for an autopsy.
Prior Jail Term and Room Occupancy Details
Police records indicate that Ravi Meena had a previous criminal record, having been imprisoned in connection with a theft case, and had only recently been released from jail. Preliminary inquiries into the stay revealed that the room had initially been rented by another young man accompanied by the woman. That particular male visitor departed the hotel on Thursday, after which Ravi arrived at the location to stay in the room.
Suspected Substance Overdose as Autopsy Results Awaited
The investigation has further revealed that both Ravi and the woman consumed intoxicants inside the room on Thursday night. Following this, the woman fell asleep, while Ravi was discovered dead the following morning. Primary findings lead investigators to strongly suspect a case of lethal overdose, though officers emphasize that every possible angle remains under scrutiny. Amer police have stated that the exact and definitive reason behind the fatality will be confirmed only after the autopsy report is released.
