The altercation took place outside a local cafe, where a verbal dispute between two teenagers quickly escalated into a physical assault. The accused juvenile brutally attacked the victim, punching him repeatedly on the face, chest, and stomach. During the scuffle, the attacker forcefully shoved the victim onto the pavement, causing severe trauma to his head. Although he was rushed to a hospital for immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries. A formal murder case has been registered in connection with the incident at the Achole Police Station. According to the details gathered by authorities, the altercation took place on the night of October 14 at around 11:30 PM. The 17-year-old deceased minor and the 16-year-old accused teenager got into a heated verbal exchange over an unspecified issue right in front of the cafe. What started as a minor disagreement rapidly spiraled out of control as the accused lost his temper and launched a brutal assault, raining punches on the victim's face, chest, and stomach.
Fatal head injury leads to tragic outcome
During the course of the physical struggle, the accused locked the victim's neck tightly under his left armpit and violently threw him down onto the concrete pavement. The forceful impact and the resulting blow caused severe injuries to the back of the minor's head. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital in Nalasopara for emergency medical treatment. However, despite the efforts of the medical staff, the doctors pronounced him dead during the course of treatment, plunging his family into deep grief.
