Following a historic box office run in India where it gathered ₹61 crore net within 27 days of its theatrical launch, the spiritual drama Hanuman Ansh is set to expand to overseas audiences. Production house Hombale Films has officially announced that the film will be released globally on September 11, 2026, distributed internationally through its overseas division, Hombale Overseas.
International Rollout Announced by Hombale Films
Announcing the overseas premiere on social media, Hombale Films highlighted the cross-border journey of the spiritual narrative. The production banner expressed pride in bringing the inspirational saga of Saint Neem Karoli Baba to international moviegoers via Hombale Overseas, emphasizing that the spiritual heritage and teachings of Maharaj Ji will now resonate on a global platform.
Dramatic Box Office Turnaround Driven by Word of Mouth
The film opened in Indian theatres on August 7 with modest commercial projections. According to box office tracking data, it registered an opening day collection of ₹10 lakh. Its first-week earnings reached approximately ₹1.08 crore, followed by a second-week tally of around ₹40 lakh. However, strong audience recommendations transformed its theatrical course, leading to an extraordinary third-week performance of roughly ₹10.40 crore. By the end of its fourth week, the movie's cumulative net collection in India stood at ₹61 crore.
Creative Leadership and Lead Portrayals
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh draws inspiration from the life, spiritual lineage, and divine philosophy of Saint Neem Karoli Baba. Actor Shobhinav Satya portrays the lead role of Neem Karoli Baba, while Vihaan Shedge presents another phase of Maharaj Ji's journey. The ensemble cast features compelling performances from Chandan Anand, Poornima Tiwari, Anil K Rastogi, and Gulshan Pandey.
Certification, Duration, and Overseas Prospects
Carrying a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes, Hanuman Ansh received an unrestricted 'U' certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
