South Indian cinema actress Mamitha Baiju has earned widespread praise for her acting prowess and professional dedication. Following the theatrical release of her film Viswanath and Sons, co-star Bhavani Sre shared a remarkable behind-the-scenes moment from the sets. Bhavani Sre revealed that Mamitha Baiju successfully completed a high-energy dance sequence while suffering from a severe 103-degree fever, leaving the entire production team astonished by her commitment.
Challenging Ooty Schedule Amid Widespread Flu
Recalling the shoot in Ooty, Bhavani Sre noted that while the scenic location initially promised a vacation-like vibe, the actual filming conditions turned out to be extraordinarily tough. Prior to arriving in Ooty, Bhavani Sre had been recovering from an illness in Hyderabad for four days. Upon joining the crew in Ooty, she discovered that several team members had caught the flu due to the cold weather and environmental conditions, making the execution of the schedule highly demanding for everyone involved.
High-Energy Performance Despite 103-Degree Fever
Amid the difficult conditions in Ooty, Mamitha Baiju was hit with a high fever of 103 degrees. Rather than requesting a break or halting the shoot, she opted to push forward and film the scheduled dance sequence. Bhavani Sre highlighted that Mamitha Baiju performed with immense enthusiasm and stamina, leaving no visible trace of exhaustion or illness on her face. Her energetic performance ensured that onlookers could not tell how unwell she was feeling during the shoot.
Director Venky Atluri Expresses Gratitude in Chennai

Speaking emotionally at the event, Venky Atluri remarked that if he had a sister, she would be just like Mamitha. He described her as a genuine, pure-hearted individual who prioritizes honing her performance and dramatic skills over focusing solely on her visual appearance on screen.
