In his social media update accompanying the poster, he confirmed that Shammi Thilakan plays the role of Raghavan in the movie. Alongside the character reveal, the makers confirmed that Khalifa is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical premiere on August 20, 2026.

The makers of Khalifa have been strategically disclosing details about the movie's ensemble cast in phases. Prior to the announcement of Shammi Thilakan, the team introduced actress Mohini as Noorjahan.
