It is baffling what goes on in the name of safety at these chemical and pharma units. When I visited Vadodara last year, locals near a plant told me about the exact same negligence. Lives are being gambled away for a quick profit and nobody is held accountable.

Hard to believe this is just coincidence happening twice, feels like negligence is being swept under the rug.

Ravikesh, sound traveling fifteen kilometers and toxic gas spreading definitely points to major negligence.

Ignoring safety standards in factories keeps costing workers their lives. A blast heard fifteen miles away and toxic gas leaks clearly show that official inspections are nothing but eyewash.

Rohan, it's not always negligence everywhere; sometimes sudden technical failures happen too.
