Tuesday night's FIFA World Cup round of 32 fixture between Mexico and Ecuador at Mexico City Stadium was pushed back after a fierce thunderstorm swept through the area surrounding the venue. The storm moved in roughly two hours before the scheduled kick-off, and as yet no revised start time has been announced. Mexico are targeting a berth in the round of 16, a result that would bring them level with the finest runs the country has ever put together at a World Cup.
