How to Claim a Nagaland Lottery Prize
The process for claiming winnings depends on the amount won. For prizes below Rs 10,000, winners can visit any designated lottery shop in Nagaland and collect the amount directly without additional paperwork.
If the prize exceeds Rs 10,000, a formal claim form must be submitted to the Director, Nagaland State Lotteries or the Nodal Officer. The form must clearly include the winner's name, postal address, contact number, and complete details of the winning ticket.
Supporting documents required with the application include a PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, bank account details, and a cancelled cheque. Additionally, winners must enclose the original winning ticket, three recent passport-size photographs, and attested photocopies of all documents duly verified by a First-Class Magistrate or Notary Public. An affidavit declaring ownership of the winning ticket is also a mandatory part of the submission.
