India outlined its substantial footprint in the country, noting contributions to over 500 development projects spanning all 34 provinces of Afghanistan alongside continuous humanitarian assistance.
Substantial Medical and Food Aid Sent to Afghanistan
Detailing its ongoing developmental support, India shared that it recently dispatched 17 tons of essential medicines and critical medical supplies to bolster the local healthcare sector. Additionally, since the year 2021, over 50,000 tons of wheat and upwards of 450 tons of medicines and vaccines have been successfully delivered to assist the Afghan population.
