Mallikarjun Kharge is a senior politician associated with the Indian National Congress and a lawyer by profession. He has been the national president of the Indian National Congress since 2022 and has served as the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha since 2021. Before that, he served as the Union Minister for Labour and Employment in the cabinet of the 15th Lok Sabha.
