Kangana Ranaut, the Lok Sabha member from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh and a prominent actress, has once again drawn widespread attention for her sharp remarks. Following the conclusion of the Cockroach Janata Party protest and the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan, Kangana Ranaut shared a post via her Instagram story targeting the CJP demonstration. In her social media post, she openly criticized the opposition protest held at Jantar Mantar, expressing strong displeasure over the reels being created during the demonstration and the language used within them, while raising multiple critical questions. Her outspoken post has quickly become a major talking point across various social media platforms.
Outrage Over CJP Demonstration
Expressing her dismay through her Instagram story, Kangana Ranaut stated that she had never witnessed so many ugly things gathered in a single place throughout her entire life. Referring to the viral reels emerging from the Gen Z protests, she remarked that watching them could literally induce nausea. Kangana further noted that the way these individuals communicate and the language they employ is extremely pathetic. According to her, she had never before encountered such crude and unpleasant elements packed into every single frame all at once.
Questions Raised on Upbringing
Continuing her critique in the same social media post, Kangana Ranaut questioned the upbringing of the students and youths who participated in the CJP protest. Expressing disbelief, she wrote to question who is actually giving birth to such people and who is responsible for their upbringing. Highlighting that India is a nation of diverse, beautiful people characterized by grace and cultural understanding, she contrasted this with those who call themselves cockroaches and behave accordingly. She asserted that there is no contradiction here and that they are simply subjecting the world to their filth, garbage, and ugliness. Kangana added that these distressing reels have impacted her so deeply that she now requires a digital detox to recover.
Previous Criticism of the Protest
This is not the first time Kangana Ranaut has attacked the CJP protest. Previously on July 20, she targeted the opposition, asserting that a democratically elected government cannot be arm-twisted or forced to bend in such a manner. She maintained that the opposition cannot compel the administration regarding who should be retained in a specific office or who should be removed. A government chosen by the public holds the complete authority to determine how governance is managed, and she suggested that those eager to run a government should contest elections and come to power legitimately.
