Ambitious Launch Schedules and Manufacturing Capacity
Sharing their operational roadmap, the chief executive of India's first space tech unicorn informed the Prime Minister that following the successful launch of the nation's inaugural private rocket on July 18, the company is preparing for the next phase. Over the coming year, they plan to conduct monthly rocket launches, for which three dedicated manufacturing facilities are fully prepared. Each of these units holds the capacity to build one rocket per month, with the ultimate long-term vision scaling up to a frequency of one launch every single week and eventually every single day.
Advanced Propulsion and Reverse Brain Drain
Another founder briefed the Prime Minister about developing a cutting-edge rocket engine that ranks among the most advanced globally, with rigorous testing currently underway. Furthermore, industry leaders noted that since the space sector was opened up, professionals currently based in the United States and Europe have expressed a strong desire to return to India and contribute domestically.
