The 3 July episode of the TV serial Anupamaa brings fresh chaos to the Shah House, as innocent Bunku suddenly finds himself accused of theft, throwing the entire household into turmoil.
Pakhi's friends accuse Bunku of stealing
The episode opens on a tense note. Some of Pakhi's friends are visiting the house when the calm is suddenly broken by a loud commotion. Pakhi's friends claim that some of their valuable belongings have gone missing, and their suspicion falls squarely on Bunku. Furious, they confront Bunku in front of everyone, hurling insults and humiliating him openly. What comes as a surprise is that Pakhi herself takes her friends' side and starts holding Bunku responsible. Bunku breaks down in tears, repeatedly insisting he is innocent, but no one, least of all Pakhi, is willing to listen to him.
Mahi and Ishani step in to defend Bunku
While the rest of the household looks at Bunku with suspicion, Mahi and Ishani are the ones who stand firmly by his side. Mahi is completely convinced that Bunku could never do something like this, and she confronts Pakhi and her friends head-on in his defence. Ishani, too, is deeply disturbed watching Bunku being humiliated this way. Worn down by Pakhi's constant taunts, when a tearful Bunku talks about leaving the house for good, Ishani panics and even begs him with folded hands not to go. Her fear is simple: if Bunku leaves, she will be left completely alone in the house.
Toshu and Pakhi hatch a new plan
Despite the huge crisis unfolding at home, Toshu and Pakhi show no concern for Bunku and instead remain absorbed in their own world. The truth is that the two are already fed up with the daily antics of Bunku and Ishani. Rather than trying to resolve the matter, Toshu and Pakhi see it as an opportunity to serve their own interests. Together, they come up with a fresh plan, seeing this as the perfect chance to get Bunku thrown out of the house for good, clearing the way for themselves.
Can Anupamaa uncover the truth?
The big question now is who will step up to help Bunku in this difficult moment. The moment Anupamaa learns about the uproar and the theft accusation against Bunku, she too becomes anxious. Her instinct tells her that Bunku is simply not capable of stealing, but at this point she has no concrete evidence to prove his innocence. It remains to be seen whether Anupamaa will dig deep into the matter, expose the real thief and clear Bunku's name, or whether Toshu and Pakhi will succeed in their scheme and get Bunku thrown out of the house.
