The nominees named for the initial set of wards feature Nazmin Sultana Borbhuiya in Ward 1, Sahin Akhtar Mazumdar in Ward 2, Jhuma Das in Ward 3, Susmita Das in Ward 4, Rahul Das in Ward 5, and Ranjit Debnath in Ward 6. Following the announcement, the APCC has instructed concerned District Congress Committee office-bearers, along with block and mandal committees as well as grassroots workers, to extend full cooperation and backing to all nominated individuals. The leadership has emphasized maintaining close coordination during the active campaigning phase and working collectively in respective wards. Meanwhile, September 11 has been established as the final date for submitting nomination papers, while nomination scrutiny is scheduled for September 14, and candidates retain the option to withdraw their nominations until September 17.
