Following its launch in China in May 2025, the sedan achieved a major sales milestone by becoming the highest-selling vehicle priced above $100,000 within just three months. In terms of size, the Maextro S800 commands a powerful presence on the road, measuring larger than approximately 99 percent of passenger cars currently in production. The sedan spans roughly 18 feet (5,480 mm) in length, with a width of 2,000 mm and a wheelbase of 3,370 mm. Its bold stance is complemented by a two-tone paint finish, giving it a distinguished look that has attracted affluent buyers in China.

The lighting system on the Maextro S800 adopts a space-inspired theme. Up front, it features million-pixel headlamps inspired by the Milky Way, paired with 96-facet crystal lights and starlight door handles. Equipped with NearLink™ Key technology, the vehicle calculates proximity as the owner approaches and automatically projects a light carpet onto the ground to welcome passengers.

Inside the vehicle, passengers experience an ambience reminiscent of a five-star lounge. The ceiling features a twinkling starlight roof design accompanied by dynamic ambient lighting capable of displaying 1.68 crore (16.8 million) colors. To ensure a comfortable journey, the rear compartment of the Maextro S800 features dual zero-gravity seats that recline up to 148.5 degrees. The cabin integrates a large 48-inch display paired with a 43-speaker surround sound system, turning the car into a personal theater. Rear passengers benefit from a swipable privacy glass partition and a dual-temperature refrigerator for drinks. For vehicle safety, the sedan is powered by Huawei's ADS 4.0 autonomous driving suite, which utilizes 3 mm-wave radars, high-resolution cameras, and cutting-edge sensors to monitor surrounding traffic.
Electric Performance and Rapid Fast-Charging Capability
The Maextro S800 is available in both pure electric (EV) and extended-range (EREV) variants. The pure electric model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. Its fast-charging technology allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in 10 to 12 minutes, delivering a driving range of up to 700 kilometers on a full charge.
