The actor had narrowly escaped the lethal attack on the evening of October 18, sustaining only minor physical injuries during the incident. With this latest development, the total number of individuals arrested in connection with the firing case has risen to 12 as authorities work to dismantle the entire operation.
Operation in Rohna Village with Local Police Support
Authorities identified the newly detained individual as Aman, who was located and taken into custody from Rohna village in Haryana's Sonipat district. The local Sonipat police assisted the Mumbai Crime Branch in tracking down the suspect. According to an official press note released by the Mumbai Police, investigators uncovered specific information during the ongoing probe that directed their attention to Sonipat. The police confirmed that necessary legal proceedings regarding the apprehension are actively being pursued.
Ties to Previously Arrested Suspect and Scrutiny of Bank Accounts
Investigators point out that Aman is an associate and friend of Kunal, a suspect who had already been taken into custody earlier in this case. The action in Sonipat was initiated following Kunal's interrogation. A dedicated team from the Mumbai Police arrived in Sonipat to take formal custody of Aman and transport him to Mumbai for detailed interrogation. The probe turned toward Aman after specific financial transactions were flagged in his personal bank account, bringing his activities under close official examination.
