Box Office Breakdown on Day 11
Data from Sacnilk indicates that Jailer 2 experienced a 6.4 percent jump in net collections on October 25 compared to the previous day. On October 24, the movie raked in 24.15 crore rupees. Language-wise breakdown for that period showed 17.35 crore rupees coming from Tamil screenings, 4.50 crore rupees from Telugu shows, 3.15 crore rupees from Hindi screens, and 70 lakh rupees from Kannada shows. On Sunday, the film added another 25.70 crore rupees, bringing its total domestic net collection in India to 398.70 crore rupees. On the international front, the movie pulled in 10 crore rupees from overseas markets on its 11th day, lifting its total overseas gross to 243.50 crore rupees and driving its worldwide gross collection past 710.35 crore rupees.
Climbing the All-Time Tamil Grosser Ranks
With domestic collections standing at 398.70 crore rupees, Jailer 2 has cemented its position as the second highest-grossing Tamil film within India, while leading the pack globally. To claim the domestic top spot, the film needs to surpass the box office earnings of 2.0, trailing behind that milestone by a mere 6.30 crore rupees. The sci-fi actioner 2.0 had finished its domestic run with a total of 407.05 crore rupees.
