Popular actress Rashmika Mandanna has finally updated her supporters regarding her health status following a significant hip injury that temporarily paused her work commitments earlier this year. Addressing the public through social media, the actress shared details about the incident while reassuring everyone that she is gradually recovering from the mishap.
How the Injury Happened on Set
In her detailed post, the actress explained that the injury occurred while she was filming an intense dance sequence for her upcoming movie Mysaa. Describing the project, she noted that it stands out as one of her most aggressive films yet. She elaborated on the physical toll, explaining that a tendon on the right side of her hip detached from the bone, which requires proper healing to lift her leg normally again. She humorously reflected that she needs to treat her body like a human being rather than a machine, noting that this forced break was something she would have never taken on her own.
Apologizing for the Absence and Sharing Daily Life
Beginning her message with a cheerful greeting, she apologized for being away from the public eye for a while. Accompanying her message were various pictures featuring cookies, puzzles, a bouquet of flowers, and glimpses of her pet dogs. Since she is used to a strict routine involving regular workouts and running, she joked that being unable to exercise might turn her into a dessert monster as she continues to eat well. She added that she has been keeping herself busy by solving puzzles and discovering a hidden talent for them.
Upcoming Film Lineup
On the professional front, the actress has resumed her work schedule. Her upcoming movie Mysaa is directed by Ravindra Pulle and produced by Unformula Films. Set against the backdrop of the Gond tribe, the project is described as an emotional action thriller where she portrays a Gond woman. In addition to this release, her pipeline includes high-profile projects such as Ranbaali, Pushpa 3, Animal Park, and Rakka.
